One Motorist Dead in Fatal I-95 Crash in Bensalem, State Police Say

One motorist is dead, Pennsylvania State Police say, after a crash late Saturday night.

According to Pennsylvania State Police, the crash happened around last night 10:30 p.m. in the southbound lanes near the Woodhaven Road exit in Bensalem.

State Police said the crash involved one vehicle. Details about motorist who died and and the circumstances of what led up to the were not released.

The roadway was closed for several hours.

The Pennsylvania State Police Trevose Barrack said traffic was being detoured onto Woodhaven Rd. while they investigated.

Traffic is now flowing on the interstate at normal and usual pace, according to highway cameras.
