A pickup truck driving on Route 13 approaching Franklin Avenue late Thursday night lost its’ front driver side tire sending it careening into two other vehicles after the driver seemingly wrestled for control of the truck while skidding on the concrete roadway.
The crash which occurred right before 9:00 p.m. and could be heard hundreds of yards away by parents whose children were playing on the fields adjacent to Keystone Elementary School. The sound of screeching tires and the subsequent metal on metal clashing was hard for anyone to ignore.
Firefighters from the Croydon Fire Company, Bristol Township Police Bensalem EMS arrived on scene shortly thereafter to survey the damage.

As first responders were on scene a woman who was apparently a passenger in one of the two vehicles that was struck by the pickup truck sought out paramedics and was seen being transported to a local medical facility.
On scene witnesses told Lower Bucks Source the woman approached the EMTs under her own will and was then was placed on to a stretcher before being transported for . Bristol township police did not immediately respond to requests for comment about the accident.
