A 24-year-old New York State man is on the run after troopers from the Pennsylvania State Police -Trevose Barracks engaged in a pursuit of a stolen vehicle who fled police at a traffic stop on Interstate 95 with the chase terminating just before crossing the state line into New Jersey.
According to the State Police, the pursuit started on May 18 at 11:15 p.m. when the vehicle, a 2023 white Audi A8, was stopped by Troopers on 1-95 north in Bensalem Township. The vehicle’s operator failed to provide documentation and fled the scene. At the time of the stop, it was unknown the vehicle was stolen.
Through investigation, the operator was identified as Mansoor Noory from Clifton Park in New York. In addition, through investigation it was discovered that the vehicle was replaced with a different VIN number and stolen from Florida. The vehicle was recovered in New York, said in the police report.
Charges were filed in Judge Michael Gallagher’s court in Bensalem and an arrest warrant was issued on May 26. The warrant is charging Noory with felony counts of fleeing/eluding and receiving stolen property. In addition, it charged him with a slew of summary offenses related to the traffic stop and high-speed pursuit, according to online court records.
