Struck Pedestrian in Critical Condition after Bensalem Hit & Run

A pedestrian was struck Saturday night by a hit ad run driver and Bensalem Police are seeking the public’s help

The accident occurred at the intersection of Knights and Dunksferry Roads just minutes before 9 pm.

According to police, the striking vehicle hit the pedestrian, an unidentified male, on Knights Rd, and fled the area heading towards Street Road. The fleeing suspect then made a right turn on to Street, continuing towards State Rd and  making a left turn on that street, crossing over into the Croydon/ section of Bristol Township.

The pedestrian was transported to Jefferson Torresdale Hospital and is listed in critical condition police say

The vehicle is described as a silver 4 door sedan with possible front end damage and a broken windshield.  Please look at the attached photograph and contact police if you see a similar vehicle with this type of damage.
