An 18 year-old female crossing Rt 13 from 2nd Avenue in Bristol Borough was struck by a vehicle Monday afternoon and was taken to local medical facility for treatment.
Chief of Police Joe Moors said officers were dispatched at 2:35 p.m. for a pedestrian struck report.
Upon their arrival they that a young woman had been struck in the southbound lanes, crossing in the crosswalk at the Rt 13 2nd Avenue intersect, Moors said.
The motorist stayed on scene as the Bucks County Rescue Squad transported the victim to Jefferson Torresdale Hospital for treatment of undisclosed injuries, Moors said.
Moors would not confirm whether or not the victim is a student.
