Borough Police Promote Reading through Cops n Kids Delaware Valley

Bristol Borough Police took part in the Cops ‘n’ Kids reading program at the Snyder-Girotti Elementary School, recently. Sergeant Carlos Rivera attended the program where school children received books to promote reading.
The program is dedicated to getting free books into the hands and homes of children.
Through participation in literacy and community events, Cops ‘n’ Kids encourages positive relationships among children, police, firefighters, teachers, and those who serve our local communities.
The community based organization has six book donations drop off points in the Lower Bucks area (see below).
Book donations are the main method of supplying kids and families with free books, but you can also support the effort in many different ways. You can donate funds to help support community events and literacy-related activities. You can also donate real estate for a permanent reading room within the community for ongoing events and book distribution.
Book Drop-Off Locations:
• Lower Makefield Township Police Station
• Morrisville Municipal Building
• Falls Township Police Station
• Starbucks Yardley (1 North Main Street)
• Newtown Athletic Club (NAC)
• The Wellness Center at St. Mary Medical Center
