The long arm of the law in the form of Bristol Borough Police Officer Elifa Soto is chasing down a 32-year-old Newtown woman who apparently fled the jurisdiction once she realized a warrant for her arrest on four counts of aggravated assault and related offenses was filed earlier this month.
Laurie Ann Gardner who according to the arrest warrant intentionally tried to run over a Bristol Borough woman on April 26 in the area of the popular bar Phinney Magee’s Pub. Gardner allegedly ran over the bench seat, missing the intended victim, when the incident occurred.
According to a number of community sources Gardner fled the area when the arrest warrant for her showed up on social media feeds.
