Bristol Man Charged for 11th Time Since June

It didn’t take long for a Bristol man recently jailed for indecent exposure to get into trouble again

Mark Kornstedt, 55 of Bristol, charged most recently with indecent exposure, is in trouble with Bristol Borough Police again.

The Bristol man who favors vodka as his beverage of choice, according to police, was cited on the first day of school for Borough students for disorderly conduct. according to public safety officials.

He entered Police Headquarters observably under the influence screaming and shouting, police said.

Subsequently he exited the building as  area school students were leaving for the day and “caused a scene” police said.

He was cited for public intoxication and disorderly conduct on September 9 court records show.

Kornstedt after his alleged indecent exposure arrest was jailed for several days and released as a result of a bail reduction hearing in the Court of Common Pleas.

Kornstedt, has been arrested or written up for summary offenses 11 times since June. 

Bristol Borough has been focusing on quality of life issues in recent months as part of a Community Policing Initiative, officials said at a recent public meeting.

\Bristol Borough Police, in recent months have been focusing on “quality of life” issues. Vice President of Council Betty Rodriguez along with council members Lorraine Cullen and Greg Pezza have advocated for a quality of life focus by the Police, especially since the Borough has become a hot spot for events during warms weather months.

A court date has yet to be set for Kornstedt’s latest encounter with police.
