Congressman Recognizes Local Girl Who Made Care Packages for Borough Police Officers
Congressman honors Levittown girl who made care packages for Bristol Borough Police Officers last month.
Representative (R) Brian Fitzpatrick (PA-1) recognized the efforts of Maddalyn Stadler of Levittown for delivering care packages to borough officers in October.
Fitzpatrick presented Stadler with an american flag that was flown over the United States capital in recognition of her “outstanding service to the community” and a special commendation memorializing the special event.
Stadler’s parent is a childhood friend of Bristol Officer James Ellis. Maddalyn told her parents that she did not like the way police officers were treated recently and came up with the idea of making the special packages for them as a way saying thank you for their dedication and service to the community.
Fitzpatrick heard about Stadler’s efforts and felt she needed to be recognized a statement reads.
