Cops: After School Fight leads to “Assault” Investigation

Police are investigating an “assault” involving two juvenile girls that happened after students were dismissed from Bristol Borough High School Friday afternoon.

Several sources alerted Lower Bucks Source to the fight, in which it was alleged a video taken by a student of the fight and posted on a social medial application.

Witnesses said one of the two girls was taken to Lower Bucks Hospital for treatment and released Friday night with a “concussion.”

“We are investigating an assault involving fifteen year -old juvenile females. Juvenile complaints are fourth coming,” said Chief of Police Steve Henry.

Henry did not comment on the alleged existence of a fight video of,  he did say the incident took place on the 1700 block of Wilson Avenue, not the foot path, as several sources suggested Friday.

“Pissed off” parents contacted Lower Bucks Source asking for an increased police presence around the school because of after school fights.

School Board President David Chichilitti said district staff along with the police are in and around the high school during student arrival and dismissal.

“We have teachers and staff all around the school block during dismissal. The incident happened a block away from the school and I trust the police we’ll get to the bottom of what happened”  Chichilitti said in response to parent concerns about after school fights.

Due to the age of the students involved in the altercation and subsequent investigation, names will not be released by officials due to legal protective status of minors.
