Cops: Bristol Woman Charged in Meth CI Sale

Bristol Township Police have charged a borough woman with the felony drug distribution charges connected to a undercover buy and sell operation using a confidential informant this past January.
Rachel Sayers, 38 of Bristol Borough was charged for possessing and distributing methamphetamine from her residence on the 200 block of Mulberry Street earlier this week, according to online court records
According to court documents, Sayers sold 3.5 grams of the drug to a confidential informant on January 25, after the unnamed buyer called her through a cell phone number.
Investigators quickly followed up days later by securing a search warrant for the Mulberry St residence from the Court of Common Pleas, on January 30.
During the warrant search, police found numerous zip lock bags generally used to store illicit substances, a digital scale that had meth residue on it, a bag containing 3.50 grams of the powerful stimulant, and smaller bag with a little more than than a half a gram that Sayers admitted was for personal use, court records show.
Sayers told police she would purchase about a quarter ounce weekly, selling off one half and using the other half, referred to on the streets as an “eight-ball” for her own use.
Sayers was processed and released and scheduled for a court appearance tentatively for June 24 in Bristol Borough District Court.
She was also charged with misdemeanor possession of an illicit substance.
End result of this case, Bucks only charged defendant with probation. This is the problem with our court system. This is why there is such a problem with narcotics in our area.
