A woman is in police custody for fleeing the scene of a two -car accident in Bristol Borough Friday morning.
The accident occurred, just after 9:15 a source in the area told Lower Bucks Source, when two vehicles collided just beyond the intersection of Beaver Street and Jefferson Avenue.

Witnesses say police chased down the unidentified woman as she fled the area on foot running on to Rt. 13 where she was captured by authorities.
Traffic was slowed for a short while a Lynch Collision Center Collision tow truck cleared the area.
One vehicle was “totaled” a witness said
No serious injuries were reported and once the second of two vehicles were cleared, Borough Police transported the suspect to headquarters for processing. She is expected to be summoned to court at a later date to answer to charges.
