A Beverly, New Jersey man has been charged for masturbating on a front lawn, Bristol Borough Police say.

Joseph Dube, 36, was arrested on January 12, according to court documents for open lewdness, indecent exposure, and a related offense as he exposed himself to a local woman walking  her dog in the area of  11oo block of Radcliffe Street, police say.

Police were dispatched to the picturesque block and upon arrival interviewed two victims.

The first victim,  woman,  told police she was walking her dog  approaching the 1000 block,  noticed a white male who had his penis outside the top of his shorts masturbating while looking at her., court records say.

The victim then called her boyfriend to report what she observed, saying she didn’t want to walk back past the man, as she needed to get back to her apartment.

The second victim, walked back past the lawn where Dube was originally seen, and also saw the same individual described to police, masturbating on the front lawn, police wrote in court documents.

The second victim told police he saw Dube enter a 11oo block Radcliff St address, soon after.

On Thursday, January, 16, police followed up with Dube on Radcliffe St for an investigative interview.

Dube told police he knew why they were speaking to him because someone was “exposing” himself in response to question.

Police asked  the suspect if they could continue the interview at headquarter which he agreed to, court record show.

Dube, according to authorities, said  he was standing outside on the day in question smoking a cigarette and felt he wasn’t doing anything wrong admitting he had his hands down his pant,  but did not expose himself. Moments later he told police he recalled speaking with the victims about using lotion on his testicles. Police asked Dube to further explain. The suspect told police on that day his testicles were raw and was applying lotion when the woman walked by.

Dube was charged by mail summons and will appear for his preliminary hearing on February 26.
