Bristol Borough Police are investigating a theft that took place at a popular pizza restaurant that took place last week.
The theft which was originally reported by the owner of Apollo Pizza, located on Farragut Avenue via social media posts occurred Thursday, October 22, at around 9:45 p.m.
The suspect requested food previously ordered by a female named Ianna to be reheated, police said.
While the owner went into the kitchen the suspect went into the register and removed cash. The suspect then fled the areas entering a gray colored vehicle that was occupied by a black female in the passenger seat, said police.
The suspect is described as a tall, black male with a muscular billed wearing a white t-shirt and jeans. Anyone with information is asked to contact Det. Davis at 215-788-7813 ext 2425.
News of the theft spread on Facebook last weekend as owner operator Tom Karen shared his dismay about the incident. An outpouring of community support followed with locals posting images of food ordered from the restaurant on social media
