Cops: Two Women charged for Attacking Brewery Owner, off duty Police Officer, and two Officers

Bristol Borough Police have charged two area women for an all out brawl last month at a local brewery in which they allegedly assaulted the owner, an off duty police officer and two police officer last month in a drunken attack.

The attack, according to police, occurred at Naked Brewing on the 200 block of Mill Street on December 11, just before 6:30 pm. Borough police were called to the scene for a report of people fighting in front of the popular night spot.

Upon arrival police observed Vanessa Boggi, 45 of Bristol and Lori Coffman, 51 of Philadelphia fighting, cursing and screaming at off duty Bristol Borough Police officer Mike Levitsky.

The responding officer tried to restrain both women but they resisted, police said in court records.

Boggi, allegedly punched the responding officer in the face. The officer was finally able to pull both women off of Levitsky as they tried continue going after him. The officer was able gain control and hold them both against his police vehicle, court records show.

According to the criminal complaint, the responding officer told the suspects they were under arrest, noting the odor of alcohol and blood shot eyes of both suspects. Both women continued to curse and scream at the police.

A second Bristol Police officer arrived  on scene placing Coffman in handcuffs. She allegedly kicked that officer in the groin while continuing to resist, according court records. Both women were placed in separate police vehicles as responding police initiated interviewing a second victim of the alleged attack.

The second victim of the attack,  owner of the establishment, told police, according to the criminal complaint, she observed Coffman and Boggi harassing the off then off duty officer (M.L) The two women were asked to leave by the her and as she was escorting them out of the establishment, Coffman allegedly tried to choke her and Boggi is alleged to have punched her in the face.

Police interviewed off duty officer Levitsky who related the following; He was drinking at the brewery when the suspects asked him a question about a local business. Coffman allegedly began to scream and yell at him about a past arrest he was involved in. During this interaction Boggi allegedly bumped the off duty officer three times and he then walked away. The business owner then began to escort both women out of Naked Brewing. Once outside, Levitsky said he could hear yelling and screaming he became concerned for the owners safety. Subsequently he went out outside and saw the two suspects attacking the owner. He identified himself as a police officer loudly and tried to stop the attack. Levitsky,  said  Boggi punched him in the face as he tried to restrain her, and bit him on the neck, court records allege.

Coffman and Boggi are both charged with two counts of aggravated assault, three counts of simple assault, resisting arrest, criminal mischief, disorderly conduct, and two related summary offenses.

Both women are scheduled to appear for a preliminary hearing at Bristol Borough District Court on February 23 to answer to the charges.

Subsequently he went out outside and saw the two suspects attacking the owner. He identified himself as a police officer loudly and tried to stop the attack. Levitsky,  said  Boggi punched him in the face as he tried to restrain her, and bit him on the neck, court records allege.

Coffman and Boggi are both charged with two counts of aggravated assault, three counts of simple assault, resisting arrest, criminal mischief, disorderly conduct, and two related summary offenses.

Both women are scheduled to appear for a preliminary hearing at Bristol Borough District Court on February 23 to answer to the charges.
