Bristol Township Fire Marshal Kevin Dippolito said, Croydon’s Fire Chief Thomas Tryon is leading the investigation into the fire at the Dow chemical plant on Friday afternoon and officials from the Dow company will be providing a press release. LBS attempted to contact Chief Tryon who was unavailable for comment as of publication time.

Breaking news: A reported fire at the former Rohm and Haas Chemicals building which now houses the Dow Chemical Company plant site on 413 in Bristol Township.
First Responders from Bristol Township, Bensalem Township, Middletown Township, and the Dell chemical fire company are currently on scene, Lower Bucks Source (LBS) has no confirmed reports of any injuries, however, LBS is observing a man currently being treated in the back of the Bucks County Rescue Squad.
Reports of an evacuation and subsequent further reports are unconfirmed at this time. The report of a fire at Dow Chemical started to come in to LBS about 25 minutes ago.
Even at 11:45 a.m., volunteers are still being called in to the site. The volunteer alert siren is still ringing throughout Bristol Township and Bristol Borough.
Updates are expected. This is a developing and continuous story.
