Borough “Raid” Investigation Active and Ongoing, Officials Say

New details emerged earlier this week about what some in Bristol Borough called a police raid last week on two borough homes in the area of Penn and Wood Streets.
As of Thursday morning no arrests have filed by local, county, or federal authorities yet Lower Bucks Source was able to confirm new information about the investigation and obtain comment from the Bucks County District Attorney’s office.
According to at least two public safety sources, the investigation is of two men, one case is comes out of the Bucks County District Attorney’s office, a second case is was launched by Bristol Borough Police.
Spokesman for the Bucks County District Attorney’s office, Manual Gamiz confirmed as much last week in a response to this publications request for comment.

The “Bristol item you are referring to is an active investigation and we won’t be able to comment until it’s concluded” he said.
Bristol Borough Chief of Police, Joe Moors, said essentially the same thing yesterday also and reiterated there is no active threat to public safety related to the investigation.
On follow up, Moors was asked if any charges would be filed in the coming days, he said “I can’t comment on that.”
The investigations are focused on illicit drug sales, two community sources told Lower Bucks Source last week.
