The Bucks County Coroner’s office on Wednesday released the name of the woman discovered dead last week in a vehicle in Bristol Borough and ruled out foul play as a cause of death.
Robin Duffy, a 46 year old Bristol resident, was found in her vehicle parked in front of her residence. No signs of foul play or trauma were noted, said Scott Croop, Chief Deputy Coroner.
Duffy was discovered by a concerned citizen, who thought her vehicle could be targeted by thieves, due in part to apparent valuable items in her vehicle. When the local woman approached the vehicle, she realized that there was a much larger concern, that Duffy appeared to be unconscious, quickly dialing 911 and seeking help with first responders responding rapidly to Wilson Avenue, in the area of Hayes Street.
First responders removed Duffy from the vehicle hoping to revive her and it quickly became apparent she had died.
It is unclear how long Duffy was in the vehicle before she was discovered.
