Footpath Attack of Bristol Student with Challenges is Under Investigation

A pre spring break “attack” of a Bristol Borough High School student is under investigation by authorities.

According to two sources, the fight occurred last Tuesday as students departed on half-day of classes along the “bike path.” Sources on the day of the of the incident told Lower Bucks Source, two students, without provocation “jumped” another student who, they say was targeted because of a  behavioral  challenge. Allegedly two other students who saw the ambush came to that student’s aide. Soon after, an adult saw the scrum taking place and “tried to break it up.”

The sources said the adult that got involved, is the father of one of the two alleged instigators. They also said, when police arrived on scene the father, required medical treatment.

Bristol authorities have remained mum on all aspects their investigation.

What is known, is what tipsters and first hand sources have shared with the publication.

Chief of Police Joe Moors was unavailable comment on Wednesday as he attending training,  as did say he would be releasing  “some” information on the alleged attack of a student with challenges.

Moors, declined to answer any questions about the the alleged attack late last week when the publication began to, make inquiries about the blitz attack,  on the footpath.

One keen eyed parent who “heard” about the reported beating, said in disguist, the school district has said nothing publicly about what happened last week, and they’re just quietly hoping it will all go away

“Its a missed opportunity for the school district to say loudly and firmly” to the student body enough with beating up and picking on, kids with seen/unseen disabilities A juvenile court source said Wednesday, they expect the DA’s office to approve citing those involved in the attack. Moors said he could not confirm or deny those reports and directed the publication to the county prosecutor’s office for additional information on the alleged case.

In unrelated school district news,  the Bristol Borough Board of School Directors will be meeting Thursday night, 7 pm at Snyder-Girotti Elementary School, beginning at 7 pm.  Among the items on tonight’s agenda, are planned votes to approve a contract agreement for the Bristol Borough Junior/Senior High School Air Conditioning Project to McCloskey Mechanical with a Base Bid (Supply Equipment) Equipment) of $205,000 and Alternate 1 (Installation of the Base Bid Equipment) for $350,735 for a total contract award of $556,235.
