Hit-and-Run Victim in Stable Condition, Investigation Continues

The bicyclist in Wednesday evenings hit-and-run is still at Jefferson-Torresdale Hospital in stable condition, Chief of Police Joe Moors said Saturday.

The hit-and- run occurred Wednesday evening around 6:30 pm, only feet away from the front entrance to Bristol Borough District Court on the 500 block of Bath Street.

The red utility vehicle was later located hours after Lower Bucks Source published images of it  on its social media platforms Thursday.

The fleeing vehicle sped up Bath Street, making a right hand turn onto Rt 13, then making a left hand turn on to Beaver Dam Road, disappearing into the Bristol Terrace area, Police said the night of crash.

Moors declined to comment further, when asked if a suspect has been identified since Police located the red utility truck that stuck the victim on north Wilson Avenue in Bristol Township.

“The investigation is active and ongoing. We’ll let you know when we have more information to release,” he said.
