Just In: 2 Car Accident on Rt 13 in Bristol Slows Traffic; No Serious Injuries Reported



A two- car accident started off when a dump truck swayed towards the center lane on Rt 13 in Bristol Borough slowed traffic Tuesday afternoon.
According to witnesses at the scene a dump truck traveling northbound swayed into a gray Altima which was sent into a spin clipping a second grey hatchback in its rear passenger side as it careened across the roadway coming to a stop in the southbound lanes.




Drivers for each of the two of vehicles were shaken but did not appear to be seriously injured.
One of the two drivers said he was “ok”
A witness to the collision said it appeared dump truck driver did not see the chain reaction accident happening behind him, potentially explaining why that driver pulled over onto the shoulder some 100 yards past where the vehicles rested in between the lanes of Rt 13,
The young male driver, who was with his “wife” and infant child said he felt the impact of crash which seriously damaged the back end of his vehicle. His concerned significant other standing in front of Sunoco calming their baby as Bristol Police arrived arrived on scene within minutes of the accident, initiating their investigation.
Shattered glass, a rear fender, and large chunks of rubber from a rear bumper were scattered across the swamped state highway with traffic proceeding slowly.
Police officials did not say if any traffic citations or charges would be filed against any of the motorists,
