Landlord charged with Retaliation, Harassment of Tenant in Bristol



Bristol Borough Police charged a local man with retaliation of a witness , harassment and two disorderly conduct offenses for his alleged continued vendetta against a women he rent’s an apartment to.
According to the criminal complaint, Borough police were dispatched to the 150 block of Buckley Street on March 5.
Angel Rivera Jr, 44 is alleged to have turned off the gas at the meter, twice and reportedly placed a nut and bolt on the front gate of the property, causing the victim to have to exit the area, through her neighbor’s property, court records show.
Bad blood has existed between suspect, and the victim as they have each filed civil complaints against one another, according court record filings.
Rivera was charged, last year, with criminal mischief, property tampering, theft and related offenses for an incident involving the same tenant, court records show.
The complaint also alleges Rivera was banging on the walls so hard that items of hers were falling off the wall in her home. The case was filed against him in the middle of last month.
He was charged by mail summons and is scheduled to answer to the charges in both cases on May 24 in Bristol Borough District Court.
