Update: Man Found Dead In Creek Identified

Officials released the name of the man found in the Otter St Creek last night as Michael Hall, 33 of Bristol Borough.

The Bucks County Coroner conducted an autopsy and ruled the manner of death as “accidental.”

Local and county authorities are conducting a death investigation regarding a body found in Otter Creek, Thursday night.

According to a press release from the Bristol Borough Police Department, officers were dispatched to the creek in the area of Maple Road when a fisherman saw a body floating in the water in around the 7 pm hour.

Fire companies from Bristol Borough, Bristol Township and Bensalem were called to assist with the body recovery operation’s.

Due to the location of the body, fire crews were dispatched by boat and by land through the dense wooded area to reach the body.  Investigators have made a tentative identification on the male victim and are attempting to make notification to the family.

The investigation is continuing and a autopsy will be conducted by the Bucks County Medical Examiner Friday.  Anyone with information is asked to contact Det. Davis at 215-788-7812 ext 2425.
