Cops: Arrest Warrant Issued for Trenton Man for Morrisville Eyewear Burglaries

Morrisville Borough Police is seeking the public’s help with locating a man they say is responsible for a number of burglaries at a local eye wear business.

Derrick Coleman, 46, Trenton, N.J  had arrest warrants filed by Morrisville Police “for numerous burglaries at Design for Vision located at 1 East Trenton Avenue,” according to a press release issued Sunday.

Police said, there, May 31 to June 12 Police Log that the entrance door to Design for Vision was smashed with $8000.00 worth of eye wear stolen,. 

The burglaries, according to court records, occurred on June 12 and June 22 of this year.

Additionally, there is a Morrisville Borough case, for similar offenses, dating back to 2019, in which Coleman pleaded guilty to, however that case is listed as “inactive” presently, although never fully adjudicated, online court records show.
