Updated: Two Dead in Shooting at Parking Lot of Upper Southampton Pub; Coroner Releases Names of Dead

Bucks County Coroner, Meredith Buck, announced Saturday the two people shot to death in the parking lot of Steam Pub in Upper Southampton Twp late last evening have been identified as Steven A. Panebianco, a 30 y.o. white male from Bensalem and Raymond A. Farrell IV, a 28 y.o. white male from Philadelphia.

Autopsies of both men are scheduled for Sunday morning. No arrests have been made and this incident remains under investigation by the Bucks County District Attorneys Office, the Upper Southampton Police Department, and the Bucks County Coroners Office.

Detectives with the Bucks County District Attorney’s Office and the Upper Southampton Police Department are investigating a shooting on Friday night, Oct. 7, 2022, that left two people dead and a third injured.

At 11:31 p.m. Friday, Bucks County 911 received numerous calls reporting that several people were shot in the parking lot of the Steam Pub, 606 Second Street Pike, Southampton PA.

One of the 911 callers reported that he was the shooter and remained on the scene until police arrived.Upper Southampton Township Police Department and EMS arrived on scene and confirmed two deceased males, ages 28 and 30, in the parking lot who suffered gunshot wounds.

While on scene, police received information that a third subject, a 24-year-old male, sustained a gunshot wound and was transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

A firearm was recovered from the scene. Detectives are in the process of reviewing and obtaining surveillance video.

The shooter has been identified and is cooperating with the investigation. No arrests are being made today and this investigation remains active.
