The two women charged with attacking an off duty police officer, two on duty officers and a local brewery owner apparently got their money’s worth from two of Bucks County’s best defense attorneys as each was accepted to the Accelerated Rehabilitative Disposition Program this week.

Vanessa Boggi, 46 of Bristol, represented by Louis R. Busico and Lori Coffman, 52 of Philadelphia represented by Parlow & Lang LLC  were accepted into the ARD program.

According to the Bucks County District Attorney’s office A.R.D  is a pre-trial intervention program for first time non-violent offenders. A.R.D. is not a conviction and does not require a defendant to serve mandatory jail sentences associated with certain convictions.

Both women were charged in December of last year starting a brawl with off duty Borough officer, Mike Levitsky and the owner of the Naked Brewing that spilled out onto Mill Street.

The two women also allegedly assaulted two responding officers as the alcohol infused fight spilled out into the middle of the street, according to police.

According to online court records, as part of taking part in the ARD program both women have to:

  • -Pay Restitution in the amount of $119.07
-Attend Drug and Alcohol Assessment and Treatment as recommended
-Complete 10 Hours of Community Service
-Have no Contact with the victims

Both were permanently banned from the popular night spot by management the night of the reported brawl.

If a person charged with a criminal offense is accepted into the A.R.D. program and fails to comply with any of the agreement conditions or are arrested for or convicted of a new offense, they will be removed from the program and the District Attorney’s Office will file an  order to have the case listed for trial on the original charges, according to the A.R.D. program website.

Upon successful completion of your A.R.D. agreement, the Court will automatically dismiss the charges against you and your criminal record will be expunged pursuant to Rules 319 and 320 of the Pennsylvania Rules of Criminal Procedure, the District Attorney’s office says.

Boggi and Coffman have to successfully complete six months of the program.

They were originally charged with with two counts of aggravated assault, three counts of simple assault, resisting arrest, criminal mischief, disorderly conduct, and related summary offenses.
