A search warrant in hand yields drugs and paraphernalia landing a man from Bristol a stint in jail awaiting his preliminary hearing, police say.
The warrant was approved for Bristol Township Police on June 26 and served the next day on room #114 of the Village Lodge located at 5361 Bristol Pike, Bristol, said police.
Room #114 of the Village Lodge was being occupied solely by 30-year-old Rasheen Wilford. As a result of the search, a bulk amount of crack, cocaine, a black digital scale with residue, new and unused plastic zip lock packaging was located. These items are consistent with the sales and distribution of crack cocaine, according to the probable cause document.
Wilford was arraigned by Magisterial District Judge Michael W. Gallagher on a felony count of possession with intent to manufacture and/or deliver and a lesser charge of drug paraphernalia possession. His bail was set for 10%/$150,000, unable to post he was remanded to Bucks County Correctional Facility (BCCF). He has applied for a public defender, according to court documents.
His preliminary hearing is scheduled July 17 when he will appear before Magisterial District Judge Kevin P. Wagner.
