Cops: Man Who Stole Ambulance Arrested by Falls Police for Theft

The man who stole a rescue squad ambulance on Tuesday night was taken into custody Thursday night charged with theft related offenses by Falls Township Police.

Cody Lynn-Phipps, 30 was arraigned  by District Judge Daniel Finello just before midnight Thursday night.

Finello set bail at 10 percent of $500,000 with the suspect being charged with felony theft offenses for a separate crime

He was captured today at 12:58 hours at the Villager Lodge on Bristol Pike, Lt Ralph Johnson said.

Johnson said, two residents of the Villager found Lynn-Phipps unconscious in a Nissan Sentra in the hotel parking lot.  They pulled him out of the vehicle and called police. Police responded and administered a dose of Narcan.
The rescue squad responded and transported him to Lower Bucks Hospital for evaluation and treatment, after which he was arraigned on waiting charges.

The Nissan Sentra in which he was found is the same vehicle that was stolen from Peruzzi Nissan on
Business Route 1 early Thursday morning and are the new charges he faces.

Lynn Phipps was unable to post bail and he was sent to Bucks County Correctional Facility with a preliminary hearing set for March 22. in Falls Township District Court

Bristol Township Police  hold a five count warrant on the man for  stealing the  Penndel-Middletown Rescue Squad vehicle, Tuesday night.
