On Saturday Bristol Township Police said they are investigating a suspicious death discovered on the grounds of Lower Bucks Hospital.

On Friday, June 24, 2023, at 0017 hours, police were summoned to Lower Bucks Hospital for the report of an unconscious male inside a pick–up truck that was parked in the lot, said Lt Sean Cosgrove. An unidentified dead male was found in the cab of the pick-up and police believe the victim traveled to the hospital alone. 

An onlooker at the hospital prior to police arriving on scene told Lower Bucks Source late Saturday the victim had a gunshot wound in the head/face area. The same source said an employee discovered the dead man when walking past the vehicle, noticing the victim’s head was leaning forward.

None of the above information, however, has been confirmed by investigators. The victim never exited the vehicle and it was parked for a few hours before being discovered, said, Cosgrove.  

The cause of death is not yet known.

The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information is asked to contact Detective Kitchenman at 267-812-3056, Lt. Cosgrove said.
