Bristol Township Fire Companies were dispatched in the brutal freezing cold early Christmas Eve morning for a vehicle fire that left one vehicle destroyed and two others damaged by the blaze.
Third District Fire Chief Howard McGoldrick said fire crews were dispatched to the area of Winder Village and Veterans Highway at first for for the blaze but the location was changed to Bristol Garden Apartments H Building, just after 1:15 am Saturday.
Newportville Fire Company was dispatched to the scene because it is in their local coverage area, he said.

The Third District Fire Company arrived on scene and extinguished the engine compartment fire with assistance from Newportville Fire Company.
Two other vehicles were slightly damaged by the fire, an official said.
