Monday morning, Bristol Township Police released new details about the crash involving a motorcyclist and two vehicles Sunday night in the Croydon section of the township that sent the rider to Jefferson Torresdale Hospital in critical condition.
The preliminary investigation, police say, shows a silver 1998 Honda Civic was traveling south on Bristol Pike attempting to make a left turn onto Dorset Avenue. Meanwhile, a black 2006 Harley Davidson was traveling north on Bristol Pike approaching the intersection with Dorset Avenue. The Honda made contact with the Harley in the northbound lane of travel on Bristol Pike setting off a secondary crash which occurred when a blue 2024 blue Ford Ranger struck the Honda in the northbound lane of travel.
The motorcyclist was transported by Bucks County Rescue Squad to Jefferson Torresdale Hospital in critical condition.
An update on the motorcyclist’s condition was not provided Monday morning , Lower Bucks Source asked Bristol authorities if the rider is still listed in critical condition and as of publication time there was no response to the inquiry.

Police were assisted at the scene by the Bucks County Rescue Squad, Bristol Township Fire Police, and the Croydon Fire Company Station 11.

A multi-vehicle accident on Bristol Pike late Sunday night sent a motorcyclist to the hospital in critical condition.
The crash occurred around 9 p.m. on Rt 13 and Dorsett Avenue, very close to the Croydon Station Apartments, commenters on a post said. One commenter described the accident saying one vehicle struck a “black” motorcycle and a pickup truck struck that car.
A local resident stood by, with the “rider” until emergency services arrived on scene, holding his helmet.
The motorcycle operator was taken to Jefferson Torresdale Hospital in critical condition, Sgt Jason Mancuso said.
It is early in the investigation and more information will be provided tomorrow, he said, adding driver impairment is not a suspected cause of the crash at this time.
On Thursday night, a little further down Rt 13 (closer to the Bensalem Township line), a three vehicle crash occurred when a driver side tire came off a pickup truck’s axle and it struck two vehicles damaging both. No serious injuries were reported in that accident; one woman who was in one of the two vehicles the pickup struck was taken to a local medical facility for evaluation.

If your south on 13, you cant bang a left onto Dorsett, if you bang a left at Dorsett you will crash through the fence and end up on the track’s. You can only bang a right onto Dorsett if your heading south, Get your reporting rite, or get a different job.

People like yourself, who hide behind BS names on the internet don’t seem to realize or know lots of thing about reporting, namely in this instance and had you taken the time to read Mr Brannigan’s comment, you would already know the answer to your wonderfully supportive comment is- the information came from BTPD. I hope you’re going to visit every publication that covered the story, with the same info and providing your wonderfully astute analysis and opinion. “Sic Pup” — you’re actual issue is with the BTPD who conducted the accident and released the info about the directions of travel etc when the crash happened. Please do better and apply basic reading and comprehension skills noting the attribution in the story- in other words, be a better reader because you apparently missed the “police said” or “said police” (or the variation of the same meaning employed in the story ) Cheers!
