Verizon service outages in the Croydon section of Bristol Township Sunday were caused by vandals a company spokesperson told Lower Bucks Source late Sunday afternoon with full restoral expected by 4:30 est.
The service outages were reported early Sunday morning with word spreading through social media.
Customers impacted by the service loss shared notifications from Verizon Support services.
Commenters on social media pointed out and observed there were no apparent traffic accidents or cable lines down that could be the cause and or reason for the service loss.
“Multiple cable cuts due to vandalism and related copper theft are causing home internet service interruption for some customers in the Bristol Twp, PA area. Our engineers are on the scene and are working to resolve this quickly with an estimated restoration time of 4:30 p.m ET.” a company spokesperson said.
Verizon customers are asked to please visit the Check Network Status page for updates on service in the area.
“We know how much people rely on Verizon and apologize for any inconvenience. We appreciate your patience” a Verizon spokesperson said.
