A 17-year-old motorist fell asleep at the wheel and crashed through a Fairless Hills home Friday afternoon, Falls Township Police say.
Lt. Chris Clark told Lower Bucks Source that the crash occurred at approximately 4:45 p.m. when a 17-year-old Bristol Township male fell asleep while driving alone in a silver Dodge Caravan in the 300 block of Trenton Road.
During this time, he left the roadway and struck an occupied residence. While there was an adult male present inside, he did not sustain any injuries, Clark said.
The Falls Township Fire Marshal’s Office determined the structure of the home was unsafe and therefore uninhabitable due to damages sustained during the crash, police said.

The 17-year-old male driver reported no injuries, but later went to an area hospital by personal vehicle for evaluation.
