A two -vehicle head on collision on causing one motorist to be hospitalized in serious condition Thursday night is under investigation by Falls Township Police.

The accident occurred last night at 8:15 pm in the area of Trenton and Canterbury Roads, when a 2021 Ford Mustang traveling South on Trenton Rd, approaching a crest of hill, went around another vehicle traveling the same way. Meanwhile a 2004 Honda Civic traveling in the opposite direction was struck head on after coming over the same hill by the Mustang, Police said, as it attempted to avoid the crash.

First responders extricated the driver of the Honda, and he was transported to St Mary’s Medical Center in serious condition, said Falls Township Police officials.

A family member of the injured driver posting to social media said numerous bones were broken as a result of the crash.

Falls Twp. Police were assisted by Fairless Hills Fire Co., The Bucks County Accident Investigation Unit and the District Attorney’s Office.
