Cops: Sisters Charged in Morrisville Robbery, Burglary

last week Falls Township Police charged two Bristol sisters with robbery related offenses.

According to Police  early afternoon on February 18th, officers responded to the 8300 block of Windsor Drive in  Morrisville for a burglary in progress.

Police arrived on scene and met with a male and female victim who stated they had heard banging on a window and saw Julia Meshel 18, (who was known to the victims at a window and gain entry.

Julia began to swing a broomstick at both the victims police said.

After both parties were struck by the broomstick, the male half was able to grab it from the suspect.

Prior to leaving the residence, Julia then grabbed a wallet and keys belonging to the female victim.

The suspects sister, Shannon Meshel, 22, then picked up an object and threw it at the male victims vehicle causing minor damage before fleeing the area.

Officers were unable to locate the sisters, who later turned themselves in.

Both were charged with robbery and burglary related offenses

They were  arraigned before Judge Wertman and released on $25,000 unsecured bail and advised to have no contact with the victims.

Both suspects are scheduled for a preliminary hearing on March 30 in Falls Township District Court,
