Eating someone else’s food is one thing, doing it to your brother is a definite argument and in this case a whole lot more.
On November 10, 2024 at approximately 1151 hours, Falls Township Police were dispatched to a report of an armed argument between brothers at 9280 Wheatsheaf Road.
Responding officers arriving on scene made contact with the victim who said he was involved in an argument with his brother, Elijah Webber, 20, over him eating the victim’s food. During their argument Webber punched the victim in the face. The victim responded to the attack by tackling Webber to the ground. While on the ground, both parties punched each other in the face multiple times, the victim said. Webber grabbed a hold of the victim’s dreadlocks and ripped out multiple pieces of the victim’s dreadlocks.
Police noted multiple pieces of the victim’s hair on the floor which were consistent with his story. After getting his hair ripped out, the victim separated from Webber and attempted to de-escalate the argument, police said in court papers.
Webber headed into the kitchen, grabbed a large red kitchen knife and began to chase his brother with it. Believing he was going to be stabbed, the victim ran out of the residence and over to a neighboring businesses where he called 911. Contact was made with Webber and he was subsequently taken into custody.
Webber was charged with aggravated assault, simple assault and two additional related offenses. The Trenton, New Jersey man was remanded to Bucks County Correctional Facility since he was unable to post 10 percent of $150,000. Webber is due in court on Dec 3 to answer to the charges.
