Robert Hoenigke, 60, of the Morrisville section of Falls Township is wanted by Bucks County authorities after he failed to appear for preliminary hearing scheduled for Nov 25, connected to a September arrest.
Hoenigke was arrested and jailed in September after he was observed yelling and screaming at motorists as Falls Twp Police were investigating a separate traffic related incident. Hoenigke, driving a red Dodge Challenger, was stopped at a green light, then proceeded through the intersection and drove into oncoming traffic almost striking another vehicle head-on, police said at the time.
Responding officers attempted to stop the Challenger however it began to pass vehicles into oncoming traffic at high speeds on West Trenton Avenue then onto US Route 13 south where it was fleeing at a high rate of speed, said police, ultimately making its way onto North Oxford Valley Road where it attempted to pass traffic on the shoulder and struck another uninvolved vehicle that was trying to clear the roadway. The pursuit was terminated when Hoenigke turned his Challenger onto Route 1, authorities said.
