A donation to the Fallsington Library, construction at 6 Steel Road, a new crossing guard contract, and a license plate reader policy were the main topics of last week’s Falls Township Board of Supervisors meeting.
A donation in the amount of $480 was presented to Fallingston Library. Proceeds came from the recent community yard sale.
Owner Albert Lykon of 6 Steel Road, LLC presented a development request of a 9,000 square feet truck repair shop on the property of 6 Steel Road before the board. Resolution 2023-36 was approved.
Falls Township crossing guards’ new contract approved by the Supervisors. Contract is for one year with a 5% increase in yearly salary, and bereavement leave extended to include brother-in-law and sister-in-law.
The Supervisors approved a new License Plate Reader policy. This is an internal police policy being adapted as the township has readers, but it is believed that there is no policy in place at this time.
