Falls Township Police arrested a man Monday wanted by the Mercer County Homicide Task Force for murder.
According to a criminal complaint filed by Falls Twp Police, officers were notified through a police radio alert a regarding a wanted subject driving a Jeep bearing New Jersey registration “C95 WCJ”. While researching the registration, police discovered the owner of the white 2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee bearing that New Jersey registration is Terrance Travers, who has an active arrest warrant for Homicide out of Mercer County.
While driving northbound on Lincoln Highway, police observed a white Jeep Grand Cherokee bearing the wanted man’s vehicle registration. The jeep entered the parking lot of the Sunoco gas station and stopped, police said.
A black male wearing a black jacket, dark jeans and gray shoes, police said, exited the vehicle and began walking towards the entrance of the Sunoco. The driver, later identified as Travers confirmed he was the owner of the white 2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee.

According to police at approximately 11:25 p.m. on August 29, 2025, Trenton police were patrolling the area of North Olden and Ohio avenues when there was a Shot Spotter activation for multiple rounds in that area.
As patrol officers were responding to the scene, their patrol vehicle was struck by a second vehicle being driven by a shooting victim who had lost control of the car. The shooting victim, identified as Andrew Coates, 41, of Trenton, was transported to Capital Health Regional Medical Center where he was pronounced dead a few hours later.
Additionally, a civilian at the scene was struck and injured by Coates’ vehicle. The adult male was also taken to the hospital for treatment. While detectives were at the hospital, a second shooting victim arrived. The adult male suffered a gunshot wound to his right leg and is in stable condition.
Two Trenton police officers were taken to the hospital and treated for non-life threatening injuries, Mercer County Prosecutor Janetta D. Marbrey, said.
Two unoccupied vehicles were struck by gunfire as well as a residence on Indiana Avenue. No one in the residence was injured.
Marbrey thanked the Falls Township and Middletown Township Police Departments in Pennsylvania as well as the Bucks County District Attorney’s Office for their assistance and cooperation with the case and Travers’ arrest.
