Falls Police Co-Respoder Teams Up with Fallsington United Methodist Church to Help Those in Need

A Falls Police co-responder and a local church came earlier this month to help those in need.
The Fallsington United Methodist Church Mission Group collected items, such as gloves, hats, scarves, and sweatshirts for the homeless earlier this year. The church received an abundance of clothing, knitted hats, and blankets which were graciously offered to the team at Falls Township Police.
The goal is for law enforcement officers and co-responders to be able to distribute the items to those in the community who are in need.
“Teaming up with our faith based organizations to help the community is always a priority for the Falls Township Police Department”. Said Chief Nelson Whitney.
Toni, Sue, and Bud were integral in collecting, gathering, and arranging the delivery of these items to headquarters, said a police spokesperson.
“Thank you Toni and team!,” said Whitney
