Falls Township Supervisors approved the hiring of a new police officer at June’s Board of Supervisors meeting.
Falls Twp Police introduced their newest police officer, Sean Perry, a Lower Makefield Township native and Pennsbury High School graduate, currently a senior at West Chester University studying Criminal Justice. He’s also a dedicated member of the Pennsylvania National Guard’s 1069th Military Police Company.
Earlier this year, he returned from a nearly year-long deployment to Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, with the 28th Military Police Company.
“Sean has been pursuing a career in law enforcement throughout his life, as a Explorer with the Lower Makefield Township Police Department, as a Community Service Officer with the New Shoreham Police Department, Rhode Island, and, in our ‘humble,’ opinion, most notably as the very first graduate of the Falls Township Youth Police Academy to become a Falls Township Police Officer!” said officials.
Perry will train at the Montgomery County Community College Police Academy with graduation anticipated in December.
