Police in Falls Township are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying those responsible for significant damage last week at Elderberry Park.
“We are seeking assistance with identifying the following juveniles who are responsible for causing significant damage to Elderberry Park on Wednesday, March 26, at approximately 6:45 p.m., by starting a fire on playground equipment, in which they burned a wooden chair and mulch. These juveniles also used black spray paint to vandalize the playground, blacktop walkway, and a bench,” said police in a Facebook post.
Police are asking residents in the area to check their home’s surveillance footage that may have recorded the individuals walking toward or away from the park. Additionally, they are also seeking to determine if any residents recently put matching chairs out for trash.
