Mont Co. Man Charged with Driving Through First Responder Traffic Blockade

Police say a Montgomery County man drove through an area where emergency personnel were responding to a vehicle fire last week.

Mark Davis, is accused of driving through a blocked off area, on April 16th  where first responders were dealing with a car fire in the area of Rt. 13 North and Tyburn Road. Several emergency vehicles had the roadway blocked at which time a vehicle passed through the blockade, authorities said.

Another officer located the vehicle and eventually were able to stop the vehicle and speak to Davis. Officers observed that h was  under the influence and also in possession of marijuana. He was arrested and charged with five counts of reckless endangerment,  DUI, and related offenses.

According to online court records, Davis is tentatively scheduled for a preliminary hearing on June 29.
