Morrisville Bicyclist Struck and Killed on Bristol Pike in Falls

A bicyclist was killed early Thursday when struck from behind by another vehicle Falls authorities say.

On Thursday, August 10, at approximately 12:10 AM, Falls Township Police were dispatched to the area of 765 Bristol Pike, Morrisville, to investigate a two vehicle accident involving a passenger car and a bicycle, police said.

The preliminary investigation determined that the vehicle, a Chrysler 300, struck the bicycle from behind,said Lt. Chris Clark.

The operator of the Chrysler 300 is a 60 year old male resident of Morrisville, and the bicyclist is a 42 year old male resident of Morrisville.

Due to the collision, the bicyclist sustained critical injuries and was transported to Capital Health, New Jersey, where he succumbed to same shortly after 3:00 AM, Clark said Thursday afternoon
