Morrisville Woman Charged for Attacking Hospital ER Staff

A Morrisville woman is facing serious felony charges in Falls Township for attacking medical personnel at a local emergency room.

Lauren Golden 42, turned herself into police Wednesday with the help of her lawyer, John J. Fioravanti Jr., Esq. She was arraigned by District Judge Jan Vislosky on four counts of aggravated assault, four counts of simple assault, four counts of disorderly conduct. and related summary offenses. Vislosky set Golden’s bail at 10 percent of $75,000 unsecured.

The attack, according to police, unfolded in the Emergency Room of Jefferson Bucks Hospital, in Langhorne on August 12.

Police allege in court papers Golden “attacked” four ER staff members while receiving medical treatment in the vicinity of other patients receiving treatment also.

Responding officers wrote in court papers, the four staff members were treated for various abrasions and injuries to their hands.

Golden is currently scheduled to appear for a preliminary hearing in Falls Twp District Court on November 22.
