State Rep Jim Prokopiak (D-Bucks) announced last week funding for interchange projects on Rt 13 in Falls Township with one breaking ground at the end of June.
PennDOT has awarded a $16,216,000 contract to Loftus Construction, Inc to rehabilitate bridges across the Philadelphia region.
This includes the below projects in the district, Prokopiak said.
U.S. 13 (Bristol Pike) over the Tyburn Road interchange in Falls Township.
U.S. 13 (Bristol Pike) between U.S. 1 and Tyburn Road in Falls Township.

Under this improvement project, PennDOT will rehabilitate the bridges to improve the condition of the structure by resolving deficiency issues and maintaining a reliable and efficient crossing for the traveling public.
The Route 13 bridge over Newbold Rd /Conrail Bridge will be the first of the projects set for Groundbreaking, with work starting on June 26, Prokopiak said.
