Falls Twp. Police were dispatched on January 31, 2026 at approximately 3:37 p.m. to Harris Drive, Falls Twp. in reference to a signed 302 warrant for allegations of domestic assault.
The victim told police that her husband became psychotic this morning at approximately 8:00 a.m. and allegedly slapped her several times in the face.
She told the responding officer her husband choked her for a few seconds after grabbing her by the throat. He then pushed her onto the bed by the face and covered her mouth and nose with his hand. He threatened to smother her, cut her into pieces and send her body to Mexico for previously putting him in a psychiatric hospital, according to the probable cause.
The victim showed the officer a small scratch under her chin that she believed was caused by his thumb when he covered her nose and mouth. This injury was consistent with her story. Her son was transported her to the hospital following the assault. They later applied for a mental health assessment for Sysoev, police said.
