Man Killed in Police Involved Shooting during “Domestic Disturbance” Call in Falls Twp

The Bucks County District Attorney’s office said a short while ago, at around 12 pm Falls Township Police were dispatched to the 400 block of Federal Lane for a domestic disturbance report.
A male at the residence was pronounced dead at the scene. No officers, or anyone else at the residence, were injured.
The Bucks County District Attorney’s Office and their Detectives were notified and responded and are now leading the investigation.
This investigation is ongoing and no more information will be provided at this time.

A Falls Township Police officer shot and killed a suspect Sunday afternoon in the Penns Grant section of the township in the area of Federal Lane and Independence Drive.
Chief of Police Nelson Whitney said, “I can confirm but all media inquiries are being referred to the Bucks County DA’s office. It is their investigation, moments ago.
Details about the shooting are still not clear, however, one source said, the suspect who was shot and killed charged police with a butcher’s knife in hand, which has yet to be confirmed by investigators on scene
A spokesperson for the Bucks County District Attorney’s office said they are aware of the shooting and may put out a press release shorty.
The DA’s office is responsible for investigating all police involved shootings in the county.
