In an effort to end a busy Monday with a feel good story, Lower Makefield Chief of Police Ken Coluzzi, did the job for us all tonight by posting a message of thanks for messages of support and encouragement left chalked out in various bright colors on the walk way to the departments entrance.
Coluzzi’s letter in its entirety is below:
I would like to personally thank our residents for their continued support, thank you cards, food, cookies, and all your gestures of appreciation. When I arrived at work today, I saw multicolored chalked notes of thanks written on the entry way and sidewalks of police headquarters. I took the time to read each message and was deeply touched. Every law enforcement officer in this township was moved by these kind and loving words. Special thanks to Girl Scout Troop 230. We are honored and proud to serve the good people of Lower Makefield Township. All the best to you and your family and Stay safe!
