Lower Makefield Township Police Reports: Cell Phone Hacked, Juveniles Charged for Vehicle Theft and More

Lower Makefield Township Police Reports July 5 to July 10, 2024 

7/10/24 – Theft from Vehicle –  Unit block of Berkley Dr. reported at 7:35 a.m. Complainant reported sometime overnight, unknown person(s) entered their unlocked vehicles and removed approximately $120 worth of items. 

7/10/24 – Theft from Vehicle – Unit block of Berkley Dr. reported at 7:50 a.m. Complainant reported sometime overnight, unknown person(s) entered their unlocked vehicles and removed approximately $5 worth of change. 

7/10/24 – Theft from Vehicle – 1200 block of Linden Ave. reported at 11:20 a.m. Complainant reported sometime overnight, unknown person(s) entered the unlocked vehicle and removed approximately $300 worth of items. 

7/9/2024 – Identity Theft  – 1600 block of Quarry Rd. reported at 1:07 p.m. Complainant reported unknown person(s) hacked their cell phone and used their data to make changes to their mortgage account. 

7/9/24 – Theft from Vehicle – 1100 block of Edgewood Rd. at Stoddart Field reported at 8:54 p.m.. Complainant reported unknown person(s) smashed their vehicle’s window and removed their purse. 

7/9/24 – Theft from Vehicle -1100 block of Edgewood Rd. at Stoddart Field reported at 8:41 p.m. Complainant reported unknown person(s) smashed their vehicle’s window and removed their purse. 

7/8/2024 – Motor Vehicle Theft – Unit block of Brook Ln. reported at 6:20 a.m. Complainant reported sometime overnight, unknown person(s) removed their 2018 GMC Acadia from their driveway. While awaiting police arrival, the victim received a notification from their bank that a withdraw was attempted at a Wawa in Feasterville, PA. Further investigation revealed the vehicle was in Philadelphia, PA. Upon arrival of LMT Detectives and Philadelphia PD, subjects fled and a foot chase ensued. Two juveniles were taken into custody by PPD. 

7/8/24 – Wanted Person – Rt. 332 & Stony Hill Rd. reported at 2:04 p.m.. While conducting traffic enforcement in the area, police received an LPR alert for a felony warrant out of Upper Dublin. A felony car stop was conducted and the 69 year old male from Philadelphia, PA was taken into police custody. He was turned over to Upper Dublin Police Department for his warrant. 

7/8/24 – Theft – 800 block of Duchess Dr. reported at 4:42 p.m. Complainant reported theft of a package containing a laptop from their back porch. 

7/8/24 – Retail Theft -1600 block of Big Oak Rd. at Shop Rite reported at 4:51 p.m. Loss Prevention detained a 43 year old female from Philadelphia, PA for taking $102.16 worth of merchandise without paying. She was taken into police custody and will be cited for Retail Theft. 

7/8/24 – Criminal Mischief – Rt. 1 & Oxford Valley Rd. reported at 5:41 p.m. Complainant reported being involved in a road rage incident where another driver banged on their door and ripped their car door handle off. After getting back into their vehicle, the offender threw a bottle at the victim’s vehicle. 

7/7/2024 – Receiving Stolen Property Arrest – Rt. 1 & Oxford Valley Rd. reported at 10:35 p.m.. Police on patrol received an alert for two stolen vehicles in the area. Police proceeded to the location to intercept them. After a brief pursuit, one of the vehicles turned onto a dead end street, where multiple juveniles fled on foot. A juvenile male from Trenton, NJ was taken into police custody and will be charged with Receiving Stolen Property, Fleeing & Eluding and traffic offenses. 

7/6 – Theft – 1200 block of Yardley Rd. reported at 3:17 p.m. Complainant reported theft of robotic lawnmower from their yard on 7/5. 

7/6 – Theft – 900 block of Hunt Dr. reported at 8:37 p.m.. Complainant reported theft of a bench from their property. 

7/6 – Retail Theft – 1600 block of Big Oak Rd. at Shop Rite reported at 4:13 p.m.. Loss Prevention reported known person neglected to scan $133.92 worth of merchandise at self-checkout since March. Store to handle internally. 

7/6/24 – Public Drunkenness – Stony Hill Rd. & Township Line Rd. reported at 8:35 p.m.. Police responded to the report of an intoxicated female pushing a stroller with two young children in the area. The 53 year old female from LMT was cited for Public Drunkenness. The children were turned over to a family member.
